Inside Health Care #60: Dr. Shantanu Nundy and the Lessons Learned from COVID

August 26, 2021 · David J. Smolar

Dr. Shantanu Nundy traveled the world, working with local communities dealing with the COVID pandemic as best they could. Over the years, he’s helped launch multiple online medical projects, value-based care models, and accountable care organizations. But as a primary care physician and business leader currently serving as Chief Medical Officer for Accolade, he’s observed time and again how telehealth has evolved, by necessity, throughout the COVID crisis. Dr. Nundy champions ways in which technology can not only improve patient self-care but can also help improve medical outreach to minority communities suffering from health equity disparity.

On this episode of NCQA’s podcast “Inside Health Care,” Dr. Nundy chats with NCQA CEO Peggy O’Kane about his book, “Care After COVID,” and what the medical community can learn from the COVID crisis.
