How Does Your PCMH Measure Up?

December 15, 2015 · NCQA

For the first time, the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) will release benchmarking data for Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) applications.

Gathered from submissions of NCQA-Recognized practices, the PCMH Benchmark file aggregates data points for pass rates on standard, element and factor scores. It also allows data segmentation along several parameters: organizational benchmark, practice specialty, PCMH recognition level and practice ownership.

The data can be applied in various ways. Researchers can use the statistical data points to gain industry insights or information about key quality improvement areas to facilitate data-driven decision making. Practices can use the data when they evaluate their practice performance and find answers to questions such as:

  • How do our scores compare to similar practices in our state, or regionally and nationally?
  • Is our performance on some PCMH elements significantly better than (or worse than) similar practices?
  • In what areas do Level 3 PCMH practices perform better than Level 1 and 2 practices?

From December 16–January 18, receive 25% off this invaluable benchmark file by applying the voucher code BENCHMARK15 in your shopping cart. Click here to order.
